Daddy’s Boys: Eric and Donald Trump Jr.

Wherever Donald Trump goes, his eldest sons usually follow. And just like their father, Don Jr. and Eric Trump are beginning to make their own news. The boys have been silently blurring the line between their father’s businesses and his presidential duties, sitting in on high-profile meetings, secretly arranging calls between Trump and heads of state, all the while working to enrichen the Trump brand. This week alone, the two Trump princelings became embroiled in scandal after an invitation to a post-inauguration party leaked, which offered the uber-wealthy the chance to hunt with them for a mere $1 million donation. As attention zeroes in on Don and Eric—and 10-year-old Barron Trump, who may one day be as controversial as his brothers—Bill Cohan paints a portrait of two young men, raised by their mother, who only began to know their father when they joined the family business. That growth can also be tracked in the several photographs herein, where they went from children on the periphery of Trump’s tabloid life, to becoming the spitting image of their father: baggy suits, supermodel girlfriends, and for some reason, weird, slicked-back hair that the Clinton campaign dubbed “Storm Trooper”-esque.
